Letter from the Course Director
Hello from the Pacific Northwest!
Congratulations to Kyle Weld and the folks from Wilford Hall Medical Center for making the 57 th Annual James C. Kimbrough Urological Seminar a huge success. The scientific quality of the meeting was superb, and they even coordinated perfect weather for us while we were there in South Texas. Also, the addition of live surgery to this meeting was truly amazing.
I would like to extend an invitation to all of you on behalf of the Urology Service at Madigan Army Medical Center to join us at the 58 th Kimbrough to be held in Seattle, Washington. The meeting will be held January 16-21, 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel located downtown. This is truly the perfect location for a meeting, with shopping, restaurants, Pike’s Market, and the Aquarium just a few strides away. Also, please take advantage of the new light rail from SEATAC airport to downtown Seattle.
We are already preparing the academic program, and we plan on having some point-counterpoint sessions along with some other exciting formats and topics for presentation. Residents should start preparing their research projects now, since first call for abstracts will be this Spring, with a deadline sometime in September.
Well, mark your calendars, and hopefully I’ll see you in Seattle for the 58 th Kimbrough Urological Seminar. This promises to be a great opportunity to update your CME and catch up with friends.
